Angela has  been at the forefront of microalgae biotechnology in the USA and Europe for over 13 years. She developed, optimised and managed, one of Europe’s largest industrial production facilities (a $50m investment) and has worked in aquaculture, cosmetics, biofuels and nutrition.

He has supported global companies through mergers,  acquisitions and restructuring; created and executed strategic business development and marketing plans for companies in major regional markets, notably America, Latin America and Europe.

SAM KIRBY

MICROBIOLOGIST

Sam is a marine biologist who has experience in the marine environmental instrumentation industry with a focus on primary productivity in the open ocean. His work has included market research, corporate strategy assessments and preparing advanced systems proposals for national and international research bodies. 
 

PETER POTTIER

Peter holds an MBA from Dalhousie Univ. and was a senior executive for PepsiCo Finance and Pfizer. His has experience of commercial and R&D activities in  pharmaceuticals, bringing products to market through unique and strategic partnerships; creating international partnerships (esp with China and LatAm) in FMCG and Travel industries, and has  held various CEO positions.

Chris is a serial entrepreneur and emerging business investor.. Previously for Blue Chip companies he restructured operations to produce £400k savings, launched a travel venture achieving 25% market share and sales of $21m.  He was responsible for $20m-$350m  sales revenues for Worldcom, Honeywell Networks,ICL Nokia Data, and Telex Computer

Suzanne has an MSc in Engineering Technology from the Faculty for Technology and Metallurgy in Belgrade,  and a BSc Biochemical Engineering; She currently works as chemical adviser and  health, safety and environment engineer in an Oil and Gas company.

ANDRES ALBERTO ARROCHA ARCO

Andrés is a Biochemist and Electrochemistn holds an MSc from IBT-UNAM (México) and is completing a Ph.D. in Energy Engineering (IER-UNAM). With different companies around the world he develops products with a particular focus in Biotechnology and Nanotechnology.
 

VERONICA FABBRICA

Veronica holds an MSc in Industrial and Environmental Biotechnologies from “La Sapienza” Univ. of Rome Her focus is using microorganisms  for health, environment and sustainability, e.g.. bacteria to remove cadmium from polluted water and fungi to produce extracellular cellulases.

TEA ROMIH

Tea has a Ph.D. from the Univ. of Ljubljana, Slovenia. in Nanotoxicology. She studied how digestive juices of model terrestrial crustaceans cause the dissolution of metal and metal oxide nanoparticles. She  currently works as a freelance academic editor, writer, translator and advisor.
